Swindling And Subversion: Ukraine, Russia, and The US of A
Is weakening your adversary worth strengthening your rival? Too often our political leaders advocate for the mallet of sanctions or the war hammer as conflict resolution. Short term the wood is bound, long term our house will fall and those of us inside are crushed under the outcomes of poor national decisions. When the hammer pays your bills everything looks like a nail but at the end of the day your average citizen (American, Ukranian, and Russian) is the one who ends up screwed. Things didn’t have to be this way and our toolbox is slimming quickly. To fix the information war we are fighting in our favor it’s important to illustrate the history of Eastern Europe after WWI when Russia and Ukraine were under one federated system, how that system collapsed (Finance, Government, War), and how WWII subversively bound Russia to the USA giving birth to our authoritarian cultural problem today.
Ukraine: Soviet-Schutzstaffel Squeeze
Democracy is defined as “Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives.” Asserting a framework where government derives its power from the consent of the governed. None of these principles would be used to describe the political system in Ukraine. Politics in Ukraine is a high stakes game and on multiple occasions people on the opposite side of leadership are taken as political prisoners (Medvedchuk and Shesler). Today the leader is Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Pro NATO) prior to 2014 it was Viktor Yanukovych (Pro Russia) and tomorrow it will be another stooge that could care less about the 45% poverty rate among his people. Their government’s mandate is to keep the oligarchs in power and allow the globalists their state sanctioned thievery/money laundering schemes (Burisma). In order to understand the present we must look upon the past in hopes that the future reveals itself.
The Russia-Ukraine issues have been deep seeded and contextually extend far back into the World War 2 era when both were part of the Soviet Union. In 1939 Stalin and Hitler signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact which put Eastern Poland under Ukrainian control and Western Poland under German control. Dividing Ukraine’s populace into 3 distinct cultural identities (Russian, Polish, Ukrainian Nationalist) fused together under the pressure of two tyrannical regimes the fascistic fervor of the Germans westward and communist collectivism of the Soviets on the eastern front.
By 1941 Germany broke the non-aggression pact and began its invasion of the Soviet Union targeting Ukraine as the agricultural powerhouse for the Soviets (Operation Barbarossa). As a result of the devastating effects of communism (Famine, Gulag Slave Labor, and Political Repression) many Western Ukrainians were sympathetic to the Nazis as they yearned to get out from under Stalin’s rule joining the ranks of the Third Reich. These Ukrainian’s formed the SS Galizien, Nachtigall, and Roland battalions recruiting many people from the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) to fight along side Germany against the Soviets.
The OUN strived for an ethnically pure independent Ukraine following their leader Stepan Bandera. Shortly after the Nazis arrived Bandera was imprisoned by the Germans as they didn’t accept his views on the independence of Ukraine. Even behind bars he still lead the OUN which engaged in the heinous extermination of anywhere from 150 - 200 thousand Jews across Ukraine by the end of 1941. The most treacherous of these events was in Babi Yar Kiev on September 29th where a pamphlet was sent out exclaiming all Jews report to the gorge with documents, money, and valuables or they would be shot. When the nearly 34,000 people arrived over 2 days they were brutally murdered and put into a mass grave at the bottom of the ravine. Around the same time the Bandera guerilla group had killed nearly 37,000 poles in what was Western Ukraine between 1943-44 (previously Eastern Poland). After the German troops moved on the nationalist guerilla group became turncoats against the Germans and visciously fought Soviet forces until the Soviets rolled Germany out of Ukraine one town at a time and proceeded to hunt the OUN operatives across Europe through out the 1950s.
The Soviet Union federation of states at that time was similar to the United States as in they had one Federalized system that ruled over smaller blocs but differed in the implementation of their government procedures and the ideology that guided their country. During it’s existence the union had gone through many phases of structural change to fit the different demographics that joined causing resentment from some of the minority groups one being Ukrainians who made up 21% of the USSR population. Finally after the death of Joseph Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev had presided over the Supreme Soviet in 1953 and in 1954 he made a decree (Executive Order) that the Crimean Oblast would be transferred from the Russian SSR to the Ukrainian SSR as a “symbolic gesture” to commemorate the signing of The Treaty of Pereyaslav 300 years prior. This caused a substantial increase in the ethnically Russian population within Ukraine adding further demographic division to the country that after World War II was a large mix of Poles, Ukrainians, and Russians all with separate ethnic and cultural identities.
Ukraine’s Territory Change

Though the OUN has since disappeared groups embodying their ideals still remain in Ukraine. Western countries (the U.S in particular) today fund a new group trained by the CIA in firearms, cover + move tactics, and camouflage called the Azov Battalion. This regiment in the Ukrainian national guard has been described on many occasions as Neo-Nazis for their anti-sematic and anti-Russian rhetoric while also being accused of looting civilian properties and raping detainees in the Donbass region around 2016 by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OCHA). In 2015 the U.S and Canada had recognized this group as extremists and placed a ban on the training of Azov regiment armed forces until the pentagon had demanded the lifting of the ban. Prior to Russia invading Ukraine Facebook had a similar designation for the Azov Battalion banning them from the platform. More recently there have been attempts in 2019 and 2021 to classify the group as a “foreign terrorist organization” lead by representatives Max Rose and again by Elissa Slotkin but both were unsuccessful. Ukraine’s history reveals that the Russian conflict is far from unprovoked and the land disputes have merit due to their existence under the Soviet Union. Finally America’s propping up of groups like the Azovs has always come back to bite the U.S in one way or another many years later you mustn’t look further back than Al Qaeda, ISIS, or even the Contras in Nicaragua.
Russia: The Poison Pill of Marxism
Shortly after World War II had ended (1945) the Cold War between the USA and Soviet Union began (1947). This intelligence warfare between the two countries took very different forms and though it has ended the Soviet injection of destructive ideology put in motion outlasted their union. In this video from 1984 Yuri Bezmenov goes into methodical detail about the “active measures” that the KGB used to attack the cultural underpinnings of American society covertly as we explicitly empowered what was left of the OUN rebels to inform and stage proxy engagements in Eastern Europe. Though these engagements aided by the self destructive nature of communism lead to the end of the Cold War and Ukraine’s separation from Russia the subversive time bomb planted stateside is reaching the end of its countdown.
The Soviet collapse was brought on by the Gorbachev administration printing excessive amounts of money to finance their budget and giving large subsidies for food factories as the public tax system fell short. Russia’s GDP then dropped by 16% and the budget deficit ramped up to 25% of GDP setting the stage for government price controls on goods bringing shortages and mass starvation across the entire country. Without any sort of market mechanisms in place such as property rights, bankruptcy law, or a coherent defense against government fueled malinvestment their currency was dragged down inviting speculators to make a run on the ruble further collapsing its value by the late 90s.
As Russia emerged from the USSR they were forced to adopt a market economy and a semblance of democratic processes in place of their former Soviet System but the road ahead was a bumpy one to start from scratch. Leaders sought to privatize Russian industry in order to stop the re-emergence of communist control utilizing a voucher system for citizens to invest in industries. After some time the process had seemed to enrich those close to the Yeltsin family (First Russian President) as natural resource companies were sold at dirt cheap prices to what would become the Russian oligarchs forming a crony capitalist system early in their economic development. Many of these oligarchs were not good stewards of their own system and stripped factories to sell the equipment, killed jobs, and stifled production not understanding that real wealth comes from the availability of goods/services not paper bills. Due to the lack of opportunity and industry needed to sustain the population Russia became destabilized as crime and corruption skyrocketed ending in Yeltsin’s departure by 1999.
After 1999 the devaluation of the ruble created an environment ripe for growth making Russian products cheaper for global buyers and commodity prices rose making their oil and gas exports more profitable. By the time the US financial crisis rolled around in 2008 Russia’s GDP had grown substantially by 7% per year doubling citizen’s disposable income from 1999 to 2008 while simultaneously halving unemployment and the poverty rate. Then over the next 4 years due to our global financial meltdown the Russian economy declined as 70% of their exports were oil, gas, and petroleum products causing their GDP to dip with global oil prices.
Continuing on to today Russia is economically very weak in terms of American dollar reserves/GDP but they are rich in resources and 2nd in gold reserves. Alone they may not pose much of a global threat to America but together with their BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) allies + Saudi Arabia and Mexico they seem to be targeting the demise of our dollar as the reserve currency by separating it from it’s petroleum backing. This is evidenced by Saudi Arabia fielding options to do oil contracts in the Chinese Yuan and Russia only transacting in rubles for their oil exports propping up their currency/banks while Western Europe is reliant on them as their primary energy source. Unfortunately for us their long term ideological ambush is bubbling up to the surface at the same time their medium term economic whirlpool has sucked us into it’s wake as we violently spin into Thucydides Trap. At the same time the chaos in Eastern Europe has produced an opening for China to pump America full of fentanyl while hijacking our industrial capacity that once provided opportunity and meaning to people’s lives resulting in roughly 100,000 opiod deaths in 2021.
USA: Schools Of Subversion
Leading up to the 1960s America was very much a culturally conservative country with astounding industrial and innovative might as we emerged out of the Jim Crow era. Families stuck together (>5% of births to unwed mothers), we had a wider breadth of small business, and a federal government that was far less intrusive into the lives of your average American. But that all began to change under the leadership of Lyndon Johnson and his “Great Society” programs in 1964 which were followed by the equally bad “War On Drugs” acts put forward by Richard Nixon in 1971 creating a culturally destructive cocktail for America. Not 20 years later in 1980 the births to unwed mothers had doubled percentage wise, race riots popped up in the late 1960s, and there was an economic recession in the 1970s with almost 10% unemployment. These radical destabilization pressures on our society lead to great despair and extreme events often lead by Marxist sympathizers unfolding in the way Mr.Bezmenov predicted.
The most locally notable instance of Marxist ideological subversion is The Weather Underground group formed on The University Of Michigan’s campus detaching from the Students for a Democratic Society. This communist organization founded in 1969 was responsible for mayhem all over the Midwest from what they called “High School Jailbreaks” to their “Days of Rage” riots while later graduating to much more extreme “acts of justice” bombing the Pentagon and State Department in Washington DC. Their leaders? Bill Ayers (Professor), Bernardine Dohrn (Civil Rights Lawyer), Jeff Jones (Environmentalist), Howard Machtinger (High School Teacher), and Mark Rudd (Math Teacher). As stated By Mr.Bezmenov these are exactly the types of people that the KGB aimed to radicalize so that they can demoralize generations of youth growing into a society as they begin to move in to positions of power.
Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.
-Vladimir Lenin
The Weather Underground targets were mostly high school or early college age white men and women that were working class. Along the way they started to branch out and target women’s groups as well such as the Motor City Nine and Cell 16 to find new members willing to participate. Shortly after their acceptance into the group they were indoctrinated with an early version of the cultural Marxism we are seeing creep up today within our schools and institutions. They would participate in a sort of demoralizing litmus test called “CSC” (Criticism self-criticism) or “Weatherfries” a Maoist technique used to reveal racists or individualists in the collective. They would often be exposed to radical criticism intended to convince party members that they were white supremacists and force them to agree along party lines. The leaders of the radical group even went so far as requiring people to renounce their possessions, separated couples, and expected them to rotate sexual partners all in the name of solidifying the ideals of collectivism over individualism in their members. The Marxist doctrine pursued by these people were a left wing extremist attempt at revolution here in America mimicking color revolutions abroad.
The construction of The Weather Underground is a result of the demoralization process and is only one of many activist groups that sprouted up around America since the destabilization stage of the subversion arc started around the 1980s. During this time the government exercised extreme intervention in our markets with wage and price controls as inflation ramped up to roughly 15% by 1980. The remedy to this inflation was setting the interest rates for the federal reserve to 20% wringing the economy of excess dollars at an extraordinary pace over the next 10 years resulting in a deep recession. From here we kicked off the excessive wealth extraction from Americans as our monetary system was taken off of the gold standard getting rid of an impartial economic check on bureaucratic money printing.
Since that inflection point we have been running our own neo-liberal racket encouraging malinvestment in sector after sector as we globalize our manufacturing and sacrificed many of our rights to a ever growing government. In the late 90s early 2000s it was the .com bubble and 9/11 costing American’s billions and giving birth to the US surveillance state on a scale never before seen. Next was the 2008 housing bubble where American’s lost 40% of all the wealth they accumulated up to that point and the big banks/auto industry was propped up by the money printer. Finally we are looking at the biggest black swan event of this century the Covid-19 pandemic that resulted in politicians printing 40% of all currency in circulation (cutting your buying power nearly in half), propping up big pharma, and taking a page from the CCP creating our own Belt And Road Initiative for American small business using PPP loans. An economy once built on production of goods/services by the population has become an economy built on the trading of inflated assets, government spending, and consumption (comprises of nearly 70% of GDP) leaving us paper rich with not much real wealth in terms of productive capacity.
Dogma > Democracy
These 3 countries have been tied together for far longer than many care to analyze each one imposing effects on the other 2 in varying ways but today looks like the end of the road. Our US leaders at the mouth of the cave encouraged Ukrainian men to poke the bear and now they are being mauled by it. Leadership’s endless apetite for proxy war has fomented this disaster and now we are being looted, demoralized, and soon to be starved by these same leaders as they head for the lifeboats. Once the vaccine mandate didn’t work the next government mandate was wealth extraction through war and welfare to cover up the reckless racket they’ve been running on the American people for decades.
We are living through the most prosperous time in human history but the foundation it was built on is being ideologically eroded from within. The dogma we see silences and smears any dissent that contradicts the approved narrative or consensus as being a representation of the truth. Truth is not something that can be swayed by words or votes the truth is grounded in reality and reveals itself regardless of people’s perception. Marxism/Socialism is based on the falsehood that everyone can live at the expense of everyone else functionally separating outcomes from reality producing ideologically backed policy prescriptions that lead to destructive economic situations for us all. Enter Wokism/Cultural Marxism which uses the same oppressor/oppressed doctrine as classical Marxism but attributes those roles based on a person’s immutable characteristics namely race, gender, sexuality, etc. This creates a coallition cult bonded by perceived victimization which exclusively seeks to exercise prejudice against majority groups (oppressors) in western countries. Adherence to the group identity is the marker for high status in the hierarchy rather than the individual’s thoughts, skills, or ideals.
Collectivists have taken over our institutions from right under our nose and it’s past time the American people take back our country by defunding the leviathan in DC, ending American global interventionism, and dealing with our cultural problems at home. Another war in Europe will not fix our broken culture only we can from within. it is our time to choose as a generation do we wish to fall back into tyranical rule of the many by the few or can we leave the last free place on earth better than we found it.
